Balangay Philippines Limited (BPL) signs a Memorandum of Understanding with CSI Trade Ventures (CSI) of Davao City on the 25th March 2022.

This MOU expresses the understandings and common interests of BPL and CSI to identify areas where the Partners can work together to strengthen, promote and develop the Philippine cacao industry, including achieving effective and sustainable development outcomes in the Australia-Philippines relationship; enhancing global recognition of the quality of Philippine cacao and Australian technology and innovation capabilities; nurturing future agribusiness leaders; and leveraging business development, trade and investment opportunities

Soil Sampling

Bruce Pearse from Pearse Viticulture visits Mindanao in May 2022 to assist with the collection of soil samples which are required before BPL will undertake a project.

Bruce is very passionate about helping people and sharing information. He was so impressed with Toto Muyco of CSI Trade Ventures and the farmers he met that he called our office and insisted we find a way to make this project work before he even returned to Australia.
